Hyderabad, Jun 9 :Telangana Government has announced the cancellation of Intermediate second-year examinations due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The decision was taken by Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy who reviewed the Covid-19 situation with the officials Today.

Speaking to media, Ms Indra Reddy said that there was no conducive situation in the state to hold Intermediate Second year examinations.

However, the students who are interested in attending the examination will be allowed once the Covid-19 situation improves in the state.

The Intermediate second year results will be announced based on Intermediate-first year marks, the Minister said and added that a committee will be formed in this regard.

The Intermediate second year results will be declared based on the recommendations of the committee.

Earlier, the state government had cancelled Intermediate First-year examinations due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.(UNI)
