Telangana Gov accepts the resignations of the TSPSC Chairman and Members.
HYDERABAD, JAN 10 : The Raj Bhan on Wednesday clarified that Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has accepted the all four resignations including Telangana State ublic Service Commission (TSPSC) chairman Dr. B Janardhan Reddy and Members’ without prejudice to the ongoing investigations and any potential future criminal proceedings.
In response to recent misinformation and concerns regarding the acceptance of resignations submitted by the TSPSC Chairman and three members -R Satyanarayana, Prof. Bandi Linga Reddy, and Sri Karam Ravinder Reddy, the Raj Bhavan in a press communiqué clarified that there has been ‘no delay’ on the part of the Governor in accepting the resignations submitted by the Chairman and 3 other members of TSPSC.
Upon receiving the resignations, as per Business Rules, the Governor promptly forwarded them to the State Government for circulation of file, along with the remarks and the opinion of the Learned Advocate General, through Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy after ensuring a thorough examination of the matter.
It is imperative to note that the ongoing investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) played a crucial role in the decision-making process, the Raj Bhavan said.
In light of this, the State Government reviewed the resignations and obtained the opinion of the Learned Advocate General and circulated the file to the Governor through the Chief Minister for acceptance of all four resignations on January 9.
The Governor accepted all four resignations without prejudice to the ongoing investigations and any potential future criminal proceedings today.
The Raj Bhavan assured all people of the State in general and the unemployed youth in particular that every precaution has been taken to safeguard the interests of the unemployed youth in this process.
The Governor remains committed to upholding the mandates of the Constitution, principles of justice, transparency, and accountability, and this decision reflects the responsible handling of a matter that involves ongoing investigations.
The entire process of acceptance of resignations was completed in one day with utmost diligence and in adherence to legal procedures, the Raj Bhavan added.(UNI)
