HYDERABAD, DEC 13 : The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught red-handed a Health Assistant (Our Sourcing), Khairatabad in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) red-handed when he was accepting a bribe amount of Rs 4,500.

The Accused Officer Dosi Suresh was caught red-handed by ACB when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 4,500 from the complainant Odela Harikanth of Ameerpet, here to do the official favour– to process the rectification of surname in the death certificate of the complainant’s brother-in-law Ramagiri Madhu Kumar, a ACB statement said.

The tainted bribe amount of Rs 4,500 was recovered from the possession of the AO and both hand fingers of the AO yielded positive results.

Therefore, the Accused Officer Dosi Suresh performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.
