Hyderabad, Sep 3: Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar Today inaugurated the distribution program of clay Ganesh idols to the public at BRKR Bhavan on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) planning to distribute 70,000 clay Ganesh idols to the public in 30 locations in Hyderabad free of cost to promote eco-friendly Ganeshas from September 4 to 10.
The Clay Ganeshas will be distributed in 30 centers and also with 4 mobile vans.
The Public who needs more than 100 idols has to approach HMDA Office.
Mr. Arvind Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, MA&; UD, Chief Engineer HMDA also attended, a release here said. (UNI)
