Telangana CS examines the arrangements for the arrival of VP Jagdeep Dhankhar

HYDERABAD, APR 23   :   Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari instructed officials to ensure meticulous arrangements for the coming visit of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar to the state on the 26th of this month.

The Chief Secretary convened a coordination meeting with officials on Tuesday to assess the progress of arrangements for the dignitary’s visit, according to an official statement.

She specifically directed the police department to make comprehensive security arrangements and adhere to traffic and crowd control measures outlined in the blue book.

Additionally, the health department was tasked with providing medical support and ensuring the presence of ample medical personnel at all venues, in collaboration with the police and protocol department.

The Roads and Buildings (R&B) department received instructions to conduct necessary repairs on roads designated for use by the Vice President of India. Similarly, the energy department was mandated to guarantee uninterrupted power supply, while the fire services department was urged to establish adequate firefighting facilities.

Emphasizing on seamless coordination, the Chief Secretary urged all line departments to work closely together to ensure the Vice President’s visit unfolds smoothly and satisfactorily.

The meeting was attended by DGP Ravi Gupta, Principal Secretary Revenue Navin Mittal, Secretary to the Governor B Venkatesham, DG Fire Services Nagi Reddy, Secretary Health Christina Chongthu, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Ross, MD TSSPDCL Musharaf, and other officials.(UNI)
