Hyderabad, Jun 2 : A couple was arrested by the police Task force team at Warangal Urban district Today for printing and circulating fake currency notes
In a joint operation, the Task Force and police raided a house in Kashibugga locality, which comes under Intezarganj police station limits and arrested a couple for printing and circulating fake currency notes and seized fake currency worth about Rs 10 lakhs besides other material including colour printer and scanner, used in printing the fake notes, police said.
The couple, who suffered losses in business, indulged in printing fake currency notes to make easy money, according to Warangal Commissioner of Police Tarun Joshi.
The accused were printing currency notes for the last three months in 2,000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20 and 10 denominations and they circulated them in shops where customer rush was high to avoid suspicion, the police officer added.(UNI)
