Telangana Cong Loyalists’ Forum writes to high command highlighting party affairs

Hyderabad, May 4 :  Telangana Congress Loyalists’Forum has felt that a detailed letter should be written to the party high Command highlighting the present state of the party affairs in the State, with no corrective steps taken after series of defeats one by one from Assembly elections in 2018, Loksbha elections in 2019, ZPTC & MPTC elections, Cooperative Societies elections, Municipalities elections, Assembly bye-elections to GHMC elections.
The latest being the defeat in the bye-election in Nagarjunasagar and Mini Municipal polls.
Leaders of Congress Loyalists’ Forum who met through Zoom App on Tuesday to take stock of the present political situation in the state also felt that they should suggest immediate remedial measures to save the party in the State, a release here said.
The leaders thanked the Senior leader K Jana Reddy for putting up a brave fight with his vigorous campaign, irrespective of his age and prevailing Covid situation.
They congratulated him for getting 70,932 votes despite the misuse of power and distribution of money on large scale by the ruling TRS Party.
The leaders also congratulated Mr Rajasekhar Reddy Congress candidate from Lingojiguda in GHMC for wresting the seat from BJP and said this is a good sign.
The Congress leaders urged the Congress cadre to observe the present ongoing political trends in the country and recent political developments in the state and not to lose hope as Congress Party will certainly shine with the past glory.
The Congress cadre is requested to work with confidence and to move cautiously during this pandemic and extend their help to needy people.
