WARANGAL (TELANGANA), JUNE 29 :  Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy assured that Warangal will be developed on par with Hyderabad.

During his tour of Warangal, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with officials on Saturday. He issued instructions to take necessary steps to develop Warangal as a heritage city.

Officials were advised to complete land acquisition related to the Inner and Outer Ring Roads. The CM requested detailed information regarding the funds required for land acquisition. He suggested that there should be an outer ring road connecting one National Highway to another and that a road should be provided for connectivity from the outer ring road to the textile park.

He directed the preparation of plans to develop an underground drainage system under the Smart City Mission. Authorities were also directed to make plans for setting up drinking water lines and to take action to prevent the encroachment of canals.

CM Revanth Reddy stated that the government is ready to cooperate regarding the development of the city. He ordered officials to find a permanent solution to the dumping problem in Warangal and to prepare plans in that direction.(UNI)
