Telangana CM visits his adopted village Vasalamarri

Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Jun 22: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao visited his adopted village of Vasalamarri in this district Today.

Speaking at the meeting arranged on the occasion, Mr Rao assured to extend full support for the development of the village. It should be a model one. For this all the villagers come together work hard to achieve this goal, he said.

Planning to benefit all the villagers, the Chief Minister said he would visit the village at least 20 time here after.

Appealing to the Vasalamarri villagersle to develop the village apart from the cast and parties, the Chief Minister praised the Ankapur village, where police were not entered into the village since seven years.

Mr Rao said, from today onwards, Salamarri is may family. Houses will be constructed for houseless villagers. Treatment will be provided for the deceased. Ration cards will be issued all the eligible villagers. Community halls to be constructed, he said.

Asking the officials to create awareness on government scheme among the villagers, the Chief Minister said the Village Development Committees to be formed based on population for the development of the Vasalamarri village.

The Chief Minister also assured to appoint a Special Officer (Collector level) to develop the Vasalamarri village.

Mr Rao also sanctioned Rs one crore for each Municipality and Rs 25 lakhs for each Panchayat in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. The District has six Municipalities and 420 Village Panchayats.(UNI)
