Telangana CM participates in inauguration programs in the Sircilla district
Hyderabad, Jul 4 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao participated in inauguration programs in Sircilla district Today.
The Chief Minister inaugurated 1,320 double bed-room houses constructed at a cost of Rs 83.37 crore in 27 acres of land in Mandepalli.
Mr. Rao also handed over house pattas to the beneficiaries.
He inaugurated the Institute of Driving, Training Research (IDTR) Centre constructed at a cost of Rs 16.48 crore in 20 acres of land in Mandepalli. The IDTR will provide training to more than 400 people.
Mr. Rao also inaugurated Nursing College, Hostel buildings constructed at a cost of Rs 36.45 crore in five acres of land in Siricilla.
As part of the tour, the Chief Minister also inaugurated Market Yard constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore in 20 acres of land in Siricilla.
Lastly, the Chief Minister inaugurated an integrated Collectorate building constructed at a cost of Rs 64.70 crore in 93.33 acres of land in Siricilla.
Speaking at a public meeting on the occasion, Mr. Rao said the TRS government made several wonders in the agriculture sector. The farmers who migrated from the state are coming back. This is a wonderful change. This is a sign that the Telangana foundation is becoming stronger once again, the Chief Minister said.
He said that the state has handed over 92 lakh tonnes of yield to the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
To strengthen the rural economy, the state government has announced a Sheep distribution scheme with Rs 8,000 crore. Of them, Sheep worth Rs 4,000 crore had already been distributed to the beneficiaries, Mr. Rao said.
The Chief Minister said that the tanks were repaired under Mission Kakatiya. Now all the tanks are filled to the brim with water. Several leaders expressed their doubts about the completion of the Kaleswaram Project. But the TRS government completed it, he added. (UNI)
