Telangana CM leaves for Delhi, to lay the foundation stone of the TRS party office

Hyderabad, Sep 1: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Supremo and Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao have left for the National Capital from Begumpet Airport here Today.
During his three-day visit, he will lay the foundation stone of the TRS Party office at 1230 hours in the Vasant Vihar area on Thursday.
The Central government had last year allotted 1,100 square meters of land to the TRS at Vasant Vihar, Delhi for construction of the party office.
The new building is being designed to cater to the needs of TRS leaders and activists visiting the National Capital.
State Ministers, all the TRS MPs, MLCs, and MLAs besides party executive members will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony.
Mr. Rao will return to Hyderabad on September 3.
Party leaders said the ceremony would be a low-key affair considering the Covid-19 norms in Delhi.
“The gathering will be minimal and in strict adherence to the Covid protocol.
We have already sought necessary permissions from the authorities concerned in Delhi,” the leaders added. (UNI)
