Bhadradri Kothagudem (Telangana), April 13 :  In a major crackdown by the Telangana police, 2,200 kg ganja (cannabis) worth Rs 3.31 crore was seized in the district on Tuesday.
According to police, during a vehicle check at the Brundavanam village, a van which was proceeding to Hyderabad from Chintoor of Andhra Pradesh, was stopped for checking.
During the checking, they found ganja concealed under empty vegetable trays and the driver was arrested, police said.
The vehicle and the contraband were seized, police added(UNI)
