Teangana Cabinet meeting on May 30 to decide on lockdown extension
Hyderabad, May 26 :Telangana state cabinet is meeting on Sunday afternoon to take a decision on the extension of the ongoing lockdown in the state to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The ongoing lockdown which began on May 12, was supposed to end by May 30.
The Cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is likely to discuss various issues including agriculture related, ongoing paddy procurement and fertilizers, a release from CMs office said here Today.
As the Ministers were busy monitoring Covid-19 pandemic curtailment measures and medical services at the field level, the CM had cancelled the earlier cabinet meeting ( May 20).
Telangana on Tuesday recorded 3,821 new cases of Covid-19 and 23 deaths.(UNI)
