TDP is expected to win Andhra with a landslide

VIJAYAWADA, JUNE 4 :  The N. Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam party is set to register a landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh and return to power after a break.

The TDP which is part of the NDA alliance has established clear leads in 132 constituencies alone out of total 175 seats and it has so far won two seats.

Almost all TDP prominent leaders including Chandrababu Naidu, his son N Lokesh and State president K Atchennaidu are leading in their constituencies.

The significance of this election is that the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance is dominating in the Rayalaseema region which is a bastion to the YSRCP. The candidates of TDP-led alliance have established clear leads in 41 Assembly segments in Rayalaseema region out of total seats 52.

The TDP alliance is going to sweep in Guntur, Krishna and East Godavari district as the YSRCP has failed to establish a clear lead even in a single constituency so far. In 5 districts, the ruling YSRCP established leads only in three to five constituencies.

As per the latest trends, the TDP candidates are leading in 131 constituencies and won 2, while film hero turned Pawan Kalyan led Jana Sena has established leads in 19 constituencies out of 21 constituencies it contested. The BJP candidates are leading in four constituencies.(UNI)
