HYDERABAD, DEC 16  :   As part of the “Vijay Diwas Celebrations and commemorating the 1971 Operations, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) organised a wreath-laying ceremony at Veerula War Memorial in Secunderabad on Saturday.

The celebrations was attended by serving personnel and veterans from all the three services.
Children from Army Schools and NCC Cadets got an opportunity to interact with the veterans of 1971 war on the occasion.

Major General Rakesh Manocha, General Officer Commanding, HQ Telangana & Andhra Sub Area thanked the 1971 war veterans for their services and felicitated them with memorabilia specially designed for the occasion, honouring their contribution.
He felicitated Lt General YN Sharma, (Retired) 1971 War Veteran at his residence on the occasion.(UNI)
