Stalin promises to keep up his excellent work as the DMK administration enters its fourth year.
CHENNAI, MAY 8 : The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu entered its fourth year in
office on Wednesday.
Listing out the achievements of his three year rule,Chief Minister and DMK
President M.K.Stalin said he would continue to serve the people with his good
performance, which has been appreciated by the people.
Listing out the numerous welfare measures, he said Stalin means performance.
“And this performance will continue under the Dravidian Model rule of the DMK”,
he said, while assuring that he would continue to serve for the welfare of the
people of the State”, Mr Stalin said.
In a video address to mark his three years in office, he said the achievements of
his government in the last three years is reflecting as happiness on people’s faces.
He said he has proved through his acts that the DMK government is one that has
delivered.
Mr Stalin asserted that his unwavered action since the last three years of his rule
has ensured smiles on the people’s faces, especially the poor.
“Stalin means hard work I have proved in three years that M K Stalin means action,
deeds and not a mere rhetoric”, he added.
It may be recalled that after a 10-year hiatus, the DMK stormed back to power
in the 2021 Assembly polls with a resounding victory and Mr Stalin became the
Chief Minister for the first time.
Mr Stalin took over the reins of the State at a time when the COVID pandemic was
prevalent. But he overcame against all odds, and the serious financial crisis faced
by the State for which he blamed the previous AIADMK regime, and delivered it
winning the hearts and support of the people, with whose trust he said became the
Chief Minister.(UNI)
