Sixth Cakeology Cake Fest to be held in Mumbai from Oct 6

PUNE, OCT 3 : The sixth edition of Cakeology Cake Fest and Beyond 2023 will be held for three days at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from October six, offering golden opportunity for Pune bakers to participate in this exhibition.

In this event, there will be cake decorating workshops, where renowned cake artists, both local and

international, will lead hands-on workshops where participants can perfect their cake decorating skills.

There will be 36 free mini workshops at the Bakersville Arena, where the beginners or seasoned pros will get a chance to hone their skills, said a press release here on Tuesday.

Interestingly, Subhashini Ramsingh of Fondbites School of Sugar Art will recreate ‘Veer – The War Elephant,’ symbolising the epic Battle of Hydaspes where King Porus rode fearlessly atop Veer.

Furthermore, there will be Cake Masters’ stand, where visitors will get to see talented artists working on delectable confectionery items.

There will be two live championships — one, the ‘Out of the Box Championship’ in partnership with 7Sugarlane and second, the ‘Chocolate Wars’ in partnership with Vanhouten Professional India.

In addition, there will be 36 absolutely free classes for aspiring bakers and cake enthusiasts to enhance their skills.

Moreover, there will be 24 free demos on cake and bake by artists, who will share their tips and tricks on stage.

The event will have the largest cake display competition in India, in partnership with BakeHaven Confectioneries, with 200 competitors spread across five different categories: wedding, sculpted, one-tier wonder, decorative cupcakes and healthy treats.

Additionally, there will be a showstopper cake competition in partnership with Cake Decor Royal Icing Art, in which 12 artists from all over India will create larger-than-life cakes under the theme “Around the World in One Day”, the release added.(UNI)
