Six people contract COVID-19 in Hamirpur
Hamirpur (HP), Mar 17 : With the finding of six new COVID-19 cases since last night, the number of active cases in the Hamirpur district has risen to 51 out of total positive cases numbering 3,123.
Forty-nine having died due to the coronavirus and the number of cured cases stood at 3,022.
CMO, Hamirpur, Dr Archana Soni said that those found suffering from the disease included all the six men hailing from different parts of the district.
She said that all 750 samples were tested against the COVID-19 through the rapid antigen test out of which six were found positive.
However, all the 459 samples under the RT-PCR test were found negative.
Meanwhile, a seventy-five years old man died four days after being administered the vaccine. The speculations are that he died of a heart attack.
The CMO said that she had no such information about the death. However, an investigation into this would be conducted.(UNI)
