Visakhapatnam, April  15: In a gruesome incident, six members of a family including two children were murdered at their residence, allegedly over a property dispute, in Juttada village under Pendurthi limits in this district on Wednesday midnight.

Upon receiving information from locals, police immediately rushed to the spot, where they found them lying in a pool of blood.

Appalaraju, who is suspected to be behind the murders, was taken into custody for interrogation, police said here.

Police are suspecting that property disputes were the main reason for the brutal murders.

The accused allegedly attacked the victims with a sharp weapon while they were asleep in the house, police added.

The deceased belonged to the family of one Rama Rao. (UNI)
