Shimla, April  29:  The 2nd Wave of Covid pandemic is already knocking the door of state
as six districts are figuring among very high virus loaded areas where the postivity rage exceed
above 20 to 25 per cent.
The state Government figures released in last 24 hrs indicated that it has broken all previous
records in Himachal Pradesh as 33 People died and 2539 new corona virus cases detected
positive in the state.
New cases are mostly being traced in Kangra district as 693 people found positive
on Wednesday district positivity rate was found 21.19 per cent.
It was Followed by Sirmaur with 295 cases( positivity rae 18.23 pc). Mandi 292(23.19 pc)
Solan 283( 20.67 pc), Hamirpur 108 ( 27 pc) and Chamba 93( 45 .55 pc).

The Union Minister of Home affairs SoPs advised the state to clamp lock down or curfew in
such district where positivity rate is above 15 percent. Currently four districts in the state
are already under night curfew and Kangra partly under lockdown. Sirmaur, Solan, Mandi and
Kangra districts are under night curfew .
Kangra district is among worst affected by the Pandemic is highest populous district recorded
16 death on Wednesday due to Corona Virus. Total death toll mounted to 1407 in the state sofar.
Mr Jindal said that the number of active cases in the state had risen to 16098 with the Kangradistrict at the top
with 4084 cases.
TOTAL number of positive cases in the state has also gone up to 93889 and the total number
of recovered patients stood at 76335.(UNI)
