Kakinada, Nov 19 : East Godavari Collector Chevuri Harikiran inspected suitable sites for construction of skill development center for Amalapuram parliamentary constituency Today.
Along with the officials of Revenue, Survey and skill development corporation, the Collector inspected a site near Koranga bridge under the Patavala village panchayat limits in Thallarevu mandal.
Later he inspected another site in Neellarevu village of Katrenikona mandal in Amalapuram division.
The Collector said suitable sites for the skill development center for Amalapuram parliamentary constituency would be selected and a detailed report would be sent to the government for approval soon.
The Collector’s visit attained significance in the backdrop of the state governments move to set up a skill development center for each parliamentary constituency.
RDOs Chinnikrishna, Vasantharayudu district skill development officer Harisheshu, Tahasildars GVSV Prasad, Ch Nagalakshmi, MPDO Ch Apparao and Mandal surveyors have accompanied the collector during the visit.(UNI)
