Dhaka, June 18: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has gifted mangoes to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Friday, the Bangladesh High Commission delivered 1,200 kg of Amrapali mangoes to Delhi.

Last year, Hasina gifted mangoes to the President, PM, and Chief Minister of West Bengal, Tripura, and Assam.

In several of her visits, she had also gifted hilsa to her Indian hosts.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ‘Mango and Hilsa diplomacy’ has further strengthened the friendship between the two countries. (UNI)
