Wanaparthy, Jul 13 : YSR Telangana Party President Y S Sharmila Today held a dharna at Thadiparthy bus stand in this district in protest against the unemployment problem in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Sharmila said that there were 1.9 lakh vacancies in the state and added about 54 lakh people applied for employment through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

Stating that YSR Telangana Party will fight till the vacancies are filled, she said the party will observe every Tuesday as unemployment day.

Before holding the dharna, Ms Sharmila consoled the family members of unemployed youth Kondal who had committed suicide recently.

She also extended some financial assistance to the deceased family.(UNI)
