Sensex fell more than 300 points.
MUMBAI, MAY 29 : The BSE Sensex continued to slide on Wednesday too, sinking 332.47 points to 74837 in the opening session on weak global cues.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) slipped 92.26 points to 22,795.55.
The NSE registered days high and low at 22825.50 and 22,762.25 points, respectively.
The midcap fell 0.15 pc, while the small cap rose 0.27 pc.
In 30 scrips, 9 advanced while 21 declined.
The losers were M&M by 1.63 pc to Rs 2510.65, ICICI Bank by 1.19 pc to Rs 1113.50, HDFC Bank by 1.10 pc to Rs 1513.60 and Ultracemco by 1.03 pc to Rs 10064.55.
The gainers were Powergrid by 0.88 pc to Rs 315.55, Sun Pharma by 0.60 pc to Rs 1473.70, Bhatti Airtel by 0.54 pc to Rs 1378 and Nestle India Ltd by 0.41 pc to Rs 2461.60.(UNI)
