Hyderabad, Oct 29 :In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival, South Central Railway (SCR) will run 24 Diwali Tri-weekly special trains between Machilipatnam and Kurnool City.

In a release here, SCR said, Train No 07067 will depart from Machilipatnam at 1550 hours on November 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29 and arrive in Kurnool City at 0510 hours on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 0068 will depart from Kurnool City at 2000 hours on November 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 & December 1 and arrive Machilipatnam at 0705 hours on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains stop at Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal and Dhone stations in both the directions.

These special trains will consist of AC-II Tier, AC-III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches, the release added.(UNI)
