Shimla, Mar 6 : Name of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Sub plan has been changed to SC-ST Development Program and Planning Department to Niti Vibhag.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur who holds the portfolio of finance said this for year 2021-22 budget estimates in the Assembly said that size of special budgetary allocation for both the sanction to be continued 25.19 per cent and nine pc respectively of the plan size.
He said that the government decided to do away with the budget estimates in to plan and non plan heads.
He said out of total plan outlay of Rs 9405 Cr government would provide Rs 2369 Cr and Rs 896 Cr for SC and ST and Rs 93 Cr for backward area.
Under Panchayat Raj System 412 new Panchayat are constituted by the gov increasing the number to 3615 now each Gram Panchayat would have their own Panchayat Bhawan , Chief Minister said.
He said that the Gram Panchayat Chowkidar honorarium increased to Rs 3000. (UNI)
