Sajjanar launches “Don’t waste food foundation’’ website
Hyderabad, May 3 : Cyberabad Commissioner ADGP V C Sajjanar on Monday launched “Don’t waste food foundation’’ Website at Cyberabad CP Office.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sajjanar appreciated the generosity of philanthropist Chakradhar Goud, Social worker Malleshwar Rao, Skybell Technology Services Private Limited CEO Sirish Verma, Blinking Dots design agency partners Vishnu and Anvesh for Feeding thousands of hungry people for free every day for last nine years.
The Commissioner said Humanity exists. “Don’t Waste Food” distributes leftover eatables among the poor. “Don’t Waste Food”, distributes the leftover food among the poor people in the city.
The food is also distributed among the kith and kin of patients, who wait outside government hospitals of Hyderabad. It is a great gesture that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his flagship program ‘Mann ki Baat appreciated Social worker Malleshwar Rao for his services, he said.
Philanthropist Chakradhar Goud expressed his happiness over Cyberabad CP for flags off this noble initiative.
“ Presently, we distribute food to around 2,000 people daily. If we can utilise the food being wasted in hotels of Hyderabad every day, no one will sleep hungry in the city” he added.
” We are doing our services in Pan India, Now we are happy to start this drive in Hyderabad”, he added.
