Lucknow, July 10 : Sadhana Gupta, wife of Samajwadi Party (SP) patron Mulayam Singh Yadav, was cremated at Pipra Ghat on Sunday.

Her last riots were performed by her son Prateek Yadav, in the presence of close family members, including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, and senior party leaders and workers.

Earlier in the day Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak and several others leaders paid floral tributes at the residence of the SP patron.

It may be noted that Sadhana Gupta, the second wife of Mulayam, passed away on Saturday after a brief illness. She was admitted to the Medanta hospital in Gurugram, where she breathed her last.(UNI)
