MUMBAI, SEP 19 : The Rupee on Monday gained 12 paise at 79.61 n opening session on selling of US Dollar from bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit moved up owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding stock market in early trade.

The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 79.58 and 79.65 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.(UNI)
