Rs 14,000 Cr to be spent on agriculture infrastructure during next three years : AP Minister
Kakinada, May 30: Andha Pradesh Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation Kurasala Kannababu said Today that Rs14,000 Cores would be spent on development of agriculture infrastructure during next three years in the state.
Addressing a press conference at his camp office here on Sunday to mark the completion of two years of YSRCP government rule, he said that the government led by Chief Minister Jaganmohan reddy was striving hard to provide the best administration to the people extending welfare schemes to all sections cutting across barriers of caste and religion.
Under the infrastructure development in the farm sector, he said , a number of godowns, cold storages, bulk milk cooling centers and custom hiring centers would come up in all the villages paving the way accelerated rural development .
A fish landing centers also would come shortly at Uppalanka village in Kakinada rural constituency, he added.
Referring to the various development and welfare schemes initiated and successfully implemented during last two years, he said the Navarathnalu had received the appreciation of people of all sections paving the way for real gram swaraj and Rajanna raj.
Development would not mean construction of huge buildings and structures alone but every family should develop financially reaping the benefits of the welfare schemes.
CM Jaganmohan Reddy has proved himself a visionary by giving top priority to welfare along with education , medical and health and agriculture. The state is now on top position in establishing highest standards in all spheres of activity and administration .
In the present COVID pandemic situation also the government was able to continue all the welfare schemes and became a role model to other states, he added.
MP Vanga Geeta Viswanath, MLC Pandula Ravindrababu who were present had described Chief Minister Jaganmohn reddy as a visionary who brought revolutionary changes in the administration .(UNI)
