Panaji, Mar 21 :Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Sunday said that the state government should relax eligibility criteria and launch total vaccination drive.
In a tweet, he said,”Wedged between Maharashtra & Karnataka our state is constantly at risk of Covid surge spreading from these high infection states. To counter this threat permanently, a small state like #Goa should relax eligibility criteria and launch Total #VaccinationDrive.”
The coastal state registered 154 new Covid 19 cases on March 21, 2021, which took the number of active cases in the state to 997.
Till now 56,525 people have been found positive in the state out of which 54,713 have recovered while 815 people have died.(UNI)
