HYDERABAD, JUNE 12 : Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday released the results of the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test-2024 (TG TET 2024).

A total of 2,86,381 candidates applied for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test 2024. Of these, 99,958 candidates applied for Paper-1. Out of those, 85,996 candidates appeared for the Paper-1 exam, and 57,725 candidates (67.13 per cent) qualified.

For Paper-2, 1,86,423 people applied, with 1,50,491 candidates appearing for the exam. Among them, 51,443 candidates (34.18 per cent) qualified.

The pass percentage for Paper-1 increased by 30.24 per cent compared to 2023, while the pass percentage for Paper-2 saw an increase of 18.88 per cent compared to 2023.

The Election Commission did not approve the decision to reduce the TET application fee due to the Election Code in place at the time of TET exam. In response, the state government decided to provide relief to the applicants.
The government has decided to allow applicants who did not qualify in TET-2024 to apply for the upcoming TET free of charge. Additionally, those who qualified in TET-2024 are permitted to apply for the DSC once for free.
