Raj Thackeray demands instant financial aid for rain-hit farmers

Mumbai, Sep 30 : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena today urged CM Uddhav Thackeray to pay Rs 50,000 to each and every farmer, who have lost their crops in the recent rain fury across the state.
In the same regard, MNS chief Raj Thackeray penned a letter to the CM, stating that farmers of Marathwada, Vidarbha and Konkan regions suffered extensive loss as several hectares land was submerged.
So, the state government should take initiative and pay Rs 50000 as compensation to those affected, immediately.
The administrative formalities, including panchnama, will be done in due course but extending financial aid to the ryots is need of the hour.(UNI)
