Pune, July 28: Thunderstorm observed (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830 hours IST of today): at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya.
The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Haryana and Punjab; active over Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
It has been subdued over Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, east Uttar Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kasmir and Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, east Rajasthan, Gujarat region and Madhya Maharashtra and at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, south interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.(UNI)
