Aurangabad/ Mumbai, Jun 18: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC) President Nana Patole Today informed that the birthday of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi tomorrow will be celebrated all over the state as ‘Sankalp Divas’.

In a statement , he stated that on this occasion Congress has decided to help the poor people by distributing rations, foodgrains, medicines, medical supplies to the families even of farmers affected by the corona.

Mr Patole further said the country has been facing the Corona epidemic for the last one and a half years.

This pandemic has made life difficult for farmers, toilers, labourers among others .

Millions have become unemployed due to the closure of industries and businesses, he said .

The Prime Minister has played with the lives of the people during the Corona era, focusing on events to ‘enhance his image’, he charged.

Celebrating Rahulji’s birthday in a festive manner at a time when Corona is wreaking havoc in the country does not suit the Congress.

With this in mind, Rahul birthday will be celebrated as ‘Sankalp Divas’.

Congress leaders and office bearers will protest against the central government in front of all the district collector’s offices in the state, while women will protest in front of the Congress gas office and petrol pumps against the rise in prices of petrol-diesel, edible oil and LPG.

Youth Congress / NSUI activists will agitate against unemployment and raise slogans against the Modi government.

If the country is to be saved, then there is no alternative but to make Gandhi as Prime Minister in 2024 and this determination will be taken on this day, Patole added.(UNI)
