‘Raa-Kadalira’ programme to involve former AP chief minister Naidu starting on January 5

VIJAYAWADA, JAN 2    :    Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party National President N Chandrababu Naidu will reach out to people in Andhra Pradesh by participating in a programme christened as ‘Raa-Kadalira’ from January 5 to 29.

TDP state president K Atchennaidu told media at the party headquarters here on Tuesday that as part of the ‘Raa-Kadalira’ programme, Naidu would address massive public meetings in all the 22 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.

Stating that an action plan has already been formulated to garner the support of massive gatherings for all these meetings, Atchennaidu announced that these meetings are being organised jointly by both the TDP and the Jana Sena Party.

Along with Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan too would address these meetings in all the Lok Sabha constituencies, the senior TDP leader added.

The TDP will organize a ‘Jayaho BC’ programme on Thursday at the party headquarters under the leadership of Party National President, he stated.

This programme is aimed at creating awareness among the Backward Classes (BCs) how this Government and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy have deceived the BCs and how terribly the community has been persecuted, Atchennaidu said.

Alleging that the Chief Minister has completely ruined the local bodies system which plays a major role in administration, the TDP State President said that the Chief Minister has diverted the Rs 9,000 crore funds released by the Centre to the panchayats.

“The situation of the village panchayats is so bad now that they do not have funds to undertake repairs to even drainage canals,” he lamented.

Though the Anganwadis have been on an agitational path for the past 22 days, Jagan Mohan Reddy has not responded till now, Atchennaidu pointed out.(UNI)
