HYDERABAD  JAN 29     :     Rolls-Royce Plc and Azad Engineering, based in Hyderabad, have signed a long-term contract for the production and supply of intricate parts for the company’s defense aviation engines.

On Monday, the stock exchanges were notified by Azad Engineering that it will manufacture and supply vital engine parts for Rolls-Royce military and defense aircraft engines.

Through this strategic alliance, Azad Engineering will become a part of the worldwide supply chain for difficult category parts for the cutting-edge aircraft engines made by Rolls-Royce.

Sources claim that a contract has been inked for extremely important and complicated rotating parts for Rolls-Royce’s military and defense engines across a range of platforms.

The key to Rolls-Royce’s success in India, according to Alex Zino, executive vice president, business development and future programs, and head of global networks, has been strong teamwork. In collaboration with Azad Engineering, we are pleased to extend our supply chain in India as we seek to fortify the defense ecosystem.
