NEW DELHI, SEPT 26 :President Droupadi Murmu will be on a one-day visit to Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield and will interact with the troops there on Thursday.

“The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu will visit Siachen Base Camp tomorrow (September 26, 2024) and interact with the Troops posted there,” a President Secretariat statement said.

It may be mentioned that President Murmu, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, had also visited Siachen in October last year and participated in various programmes.
