Hyderabad, May 4 :  A 33-year-old Police Constable allegedly committed suicide by slitting his throat at his residence in Malakpet here on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as B Abhilash.
Police said Abhilash is working at the Madannapet Police Station and residing in Baladannama Basthi in Malakpet along with his wife and two children.
Abhilash dropped his wife and children at his mother-in-law’s house in Kodad two days ago.
On Monday night, Abhilash who came back home in Malakpet locked himself in a room and committed suicide by slitting his throat.
His family members got suspicious when he did not answer their phone calls.
They broke open the door later and found him lying in a pool of blood in the room.
On information, police, who reached the spot, registered a case and sent the body to Osmania General Hospital for post mortem.(UNI)
