PM’s security breach a ‘political drama’ :Chinta Mohan
Tirupati, Jan 8 :Former Union Minister and Special invitee to the Congress Working Committee (CWC) Dr Chinta Mohan Today described the breach in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security during his recent visit to Punjab as a ‘political drama’ and at humiliating a Dalit Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
In a media statement, Dr Chinta Mohan said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with falling popularity graph in the country had utilised the Punjab scenario for political gains.
Unemployment in India under the regime of Mr Modi had surged more than Bangladesh and hunger deaths were larger than Pakistan, the Senior congress leader alleged.
He alleged that Modi led a luxurious life at public expense besides fancy suits every day and fancy cars and jaunts.
The former Minister demanded a probe and audit into the PM Cares fund and details on how much was collected from Corporate groups and how it is spent.
Dr Mohan also charged that a third Ghat road to Tirumala would be a haven to red sanders, liquor and rice smugglers.
It is a major blunder that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board had decided to build a third Ghat road from Mamandur to Tirumala across red sanders zone as the road was a needless expenditure and also would help smugglers besides being a major security threat to Srivari temple.(UNI)
