Puducherry, Mar 9:The Pattali Makkal Katchi(PMK) which was not allocated a single seat in the NDA on Tuesday decided to contest 1t5 seats in the union territory alone.

Immediately after the NDA failed to allocate any seat to the PMK,the party’s executive committee meeting was convened here in which the party functionaries insisted to contest the polls alone.

Accordingly, it was decided that the PMK will contest 12 sears in Puducherry and three in Karaikal alone and a resolution to this effect was adopted in the meeting and forwarded to the party leadership.

The further course of action was left to the party leadership, PMK sources here said. (UNI)
