Panaji, Oct 16 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Swayampurna Mitras, Sarpanchs and Panch members on October 23, 2021, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said today.

Holding a virtual review meeting with Swayampurna Mitra’s, Panchayats, Municipalities, HoDs, Taluka Nodal Officers and Paryavekshaks, Dr Sawant said the Prime Minister had acknowledged the work undertaken through Swayampurna Goa.

He said the government will be providing Rs 50 lakh each to the Panchayats and Rupees one crore to the Municipalities to carry out any innovative project under their respective Panchayat.

The Chief Minister urged the people to register their grievances, if any, with Swayampurna Mitra and said appointments of the additional Swayampurna mitras would be done wherein four wards would be handled by one Swayampurna Mitra.(UNI)
