Hyderabad, April 23 : Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy said on Sunday that Arogya Bharat is Prime Minister Modi’s objective.
Speaking as the chief guest at the “Healthy Baby Show” program held at Nampally, here on Sunday, he emphasized that healthy babies are crucial for the realization of this goal. Reddy underlined the benefits of breastfeeding and stated that only healthy babies can pave the way for the establishment of Arogya Bharat.
The Union Minister stated that providing nutritious food to infants is a priority for the Modi government, and several initiatives have been launched to achieve this goal.
He also discussed the various programs aimed at ending discrimination against women and educating parents about child-rearing. Thanks to initiatives like ‘Beti Bacha, Beti Padao’, an equal proportion of women has been achieved in the country today.
Reddy noted that Prime Minister Modi has directed to organize a healthy baby show in every parliamentary constituency in the country. The program is designed for infants between three and 13 months.
The Union Minister explained that the initiative seeks to raise awareness about the importance of breast milk among the government and society.
As part of the Healthy Baby Show program, Reddy distributed health kits and certificates to the participants.
He emphasized that the children would always be remembered, even as they grow up.(UNI)
