Thiruvananthapuram, May 12 :The new LDF Government under Pinarayi Vijayan is set to assume office on May 20.
“The swearing in ceremony is likely to be on May 20 as a decision in this regard will be taken by a meeting of Left Democratic Front (LDF) soon,” the CM said while responding to a query during a press conference, here today evening.
However, he denied social media report that the date and time of the oath taking ceremony was decided on the advise of astrologers.
Bucking the trend of the state changing government’s every five years in the last four decades, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) had won 99 out of 140 Assembly seats, eight seats more than what it won in the last Assembly polls, in the recently-concluded Assembly polls.(UNI)
