Pearl Academy’s Portfolio 2024 presents an intriguing blend of technology and art.
MUMBAI, MAY 24 : Pearl Academy, a creative education institution, strengthened its long-standing partnership with FDCI, offering co-certification for short-term courses, and masterclasses by top Indian fashion designers, providing students with learning experiences and first hand exposure to the industry.
The FDCI collaboration also allows students to showcase their work at Lakme Fashion Week and India Couture Week.
The institution organised Portfolio 2024, an annual event that serves as a platform for graduating students to showcase their creativity and innovation at its Mumbai campus based on the theme Tech Nomads.
The event was graced by leading visionaries of the industry such as Sandeep Khosla, renowned fashion designer and co-owner, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla; Rajesh Masand, President, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, Ali Fasal, actor; Brinda Miller, artist; among others.
As per the recent MoU signed between Creative Arts Education Society (CAES), and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Institute of National Importance, MoYAS, Government of India, all students enrolled at Pearl Academy campuses, including Delhi West, Delhi South, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Jaipur, will now be conferred with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees effective 2024 intake.Furthermore, the institution offers a 2-week global immersion program as a part of its curriculum offering students exposure to London, Paris, Milan and New York Fashion Weeks.
A notable 35 per cent of credits are allocated to tech-driven curricula, ensuring that students are fully prepared for the digital age.
With an impressive 99 per cent placement rate year-on-year, the institution has been a catalyst for success for its students through its constructive tie-ups with industry bodies.(UNI)
