Patil asks CM Uddhav of his achievement in one and half years

Pune, May 21:Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil today criticized CM Uddhav Thackeray on various issues and asked if there any achievement of Maha Vikas Aghadi government during the one and half years.

Addressing reporters here, he said that after providing foodgrain kits for one month to the several marathi artists which was host by Creative Foundation and Mukul madhav Foundation.

He said even in pandemic situation, Thackeray government has not come to rescue of any community despite people like stage artists, singers and composers are facing many challenges these days due to lockdown and Covid-19 crisis.

Making on frontal attacks on MVA led Thackeray government, patil said we are requesting to government from last one and half years to help the people who are belong from unorganized sector, but the help of single rupees were not reach to them till today.

He said the first wave of Covid-19 has already passed, now the second waves are going and even third wave also can not rule out, but the maharashtra government has make deaf-mute towards workers and people working under unorganized sector.

Mr Patil disclose that artists community and unorganized sector has affected more during lockdown, but it is shameful for our government who never care them even in pandemic situation.

He said when chief minister Uddhav Thackeray was on hury to announce the sec ond lockdown in maharashtra, we alongwith BJP delegation meet to Thackeray and request him to provide some financial package these workers. Thackeray has done nothing except making promises, patil criticized.

He told that nobody knows that how long Covid-19 crisis will go in country, there are need to prepare ourself to face this challenges in future. He also assured to provide all help to weaken section of society including foodgrain to them till crisis will end.

Appreciating the work done by Creative Foundation chairman Sandeep Khardekar and Mukul madhav Foundation officer Jitendra Jadhav for society, Patil said that our marathi artists are in dire need of help. To upheld the dignity of our maharashtra cultural, we should come forward and help to them in all manners, he added.

Speaking on occasion, Mr Khardekar of Creative Foundation said that these artists are jobless from last one and half years, this little help has brought the smile of faces of many stages artists today. He further said that our NGO will continue work for upliftment and betterment of these communities in future too.(UNI)
