MUMBAI, DEC 6: The BSE Sensex dropped 380.08 points at 62,454.52 as selling was seen across the board.

The Nifty dropped 86.60 points to 18,614.45.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 62,599.41 and 62,390.07 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra-day highs and lows at 18,637.80 and 18,577.90 points respectively.

The Mid Cap declined by 0.18 percent while the Small Cap rose by 0.04 percent.

In 30 scrips 7 advanced while 23 declined.

The losers were HCL Technology by 2.01 percent to Rs 1108.40, Infosys by 1.40 percent to Rs 1617.50, Tata Steel by 1.30 percent to Rs 114.30, Tech Mahindra by 1.29 percent to Rs 1085.55 and TCS by 1.08 percent to Rs 3388.

The gainers were Bajaj Finance by 0.73 percent to Rs 6703, IndusInd Bank by 0.70 percent to Rs 1203.10, Axis Bank t 0.27 percent to Rs 901.75, and Hind Unilever by 0.20 percent to Rs 2625. (UNI)
