OU enters MoU with Midwest energy to promote multidisciplinary education

Hyderabad, April 3: The Department of Electrical Engineering, University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Osmania University, Hyderabad entered into a memorandum of understanding with Midwest Energy Private Limited Hyderabad to promote multidisciplinary education.
The MoU was signed by the Registrar of OU Gopal Reddy and Ms. Somya Kukreti of the Midwest Energy in the presence of the Incharge Vice-Chancellor Arvind Kumar.

and Mr. Stanley Charles (Technical Project Head) Midwest – Energy were also present on the occasion.
The MoU has been entered to promote multidisciplinary education and research to meet societal requirements for expertise in the available appropriate subjects in the areas identified by both the institution and company, to meet the creative side and analytical side of the developing economy clubbed with innovation.
The objectives of the MoU include entering into collaborative research and academic programs, providing for faculty exchange between both the Institutions, providing internship to students/scholars of OU with the Midwest Energy.
The MoU also includes offering training, skill development, capacity building programs/courses for the benefit of students/scholars/teachers and others, a release here said on Saturday.
