AMARAVATI, SEP 17 :  Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from September 19-22, the Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that strong surface winds with speeds ranging from 30- 40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
The Southwest monsoon has been weak in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, the report added.(UNI)
