Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the Telangana High Court ordered the Ranga Reddy district irrigation and revenue departments to be vigilant and make sure that no new structures are built in the Masab Cheruvu buffer zone in Turkayamjal village in Abdullapurmet mandal.The authorities’ failure to remove the unlawful and unpermitted encroachments in Survey No. 205, which is a component of the Masab Cheruvu buffer zone, was the subject of a public interest lawsuit before the court.The petitioner asked the authorities to instruct them to create a committee to develop the lake by delineating its limits and building bunds while also protecting it.The court ordered the HMDA and therevenue and irrigation departments of the Ranga Reddy district to file their arguments in response to the PIL.
